How to get there?

By Metro No. 5 to the terminus "Herrmann-Debroux" in the southeast of Brussels.

Change to tram 94: 5 stops to "Delleur", while already passing No. 17.

Alternatively, take the train to station "Boitsfort / Bosvoorde go" and one stop by tram 94 towards "Herrmann-Debroux.

5.1 "Prof. Bergamotte"

Address: Avenue Delleur 6

Anyone who has read "The Seven Crystal Balls" recognizes this house. Es ist die Villa von Professor Birnbaum (im Original "Bergamotte"). It's the villa of professor Tarragon ("Bergamotte" in french).

The spacious garden is missing and the house is actually a semi-detached. Dennoch entdeckt man genügend Übereinstimmungen. However, you'll find plenty of matches.

Hergé did not have to walk far to make the sketches, because it is just a few hundred yards from his former residence. Das Haus kann nicht besichtigt werden. The house can not be visited.

5.2 Hergé 1939-1953

From 1939 to 1953 Hergé lived in No. 17 Avenue Delleur.Dort gründete er die Studios Hergé, die später in die Avenue Louise umzogen. There he founded the Studios Hergé, later moved to Avenue Louise

A pretty little house, but located near tram and a multi-lane road. Es kann nicht besichtigt werden. It can not be visited.
